Well, It's official, we are a family of 6. Evelyn DongJiao Shelton is all ours and we are all hers.
Some of my thoughts. I am exhausted emotionally and physically. I am so happy.
We are still calling her Dong Jiao.
She sat on my lap today for the official photo. Mostly because she had to. I'll take it.
She always wants her hand held. I think it is mostly because she falls often but again I'll take it.
She is adorable and smiles constantly.
I wish I knew what she was thinking. It is hard not knowing how to communicate.
We took her to the mall today and got her a new pair of shoes. She could not choose off of the shelf but once we gave her three choices she was able to choose. She liked the pink shoes.
We got her a brand new headband. It felt so good.
She has not cried or shown much emotion other than smiling. Again she smiles constantly.
At lunch today she eagerly showed me what she wanted. (thanks God for menus with photos)
She get's into EVERYTHING. It is a bit like having a two year old around.
If I make a game out of it she'll let me cary her and I LOVE it! Not sure she does but she'll tolerate it.
She is fiercely independent.
She Constantly smiles. I know I already said that but it is so true.
We are hanging out with another family that adopted an older boy. So very grateful for them.
Sorry that's all I got.
I am off to the Anhui Healing Home.
wow, congrats! YOU wait and watch this amazing flower open up! She is a treasured jewel!!!! Love her name and love her!
