Beach

Thanie has really taken on the big brother roll. They do fight (oh they fight) but he really keeps his eye on her and if she is sad he sees to it that things get better, and quick.
Check out the leg rolls and nice plump tummy. Why can't it look so cute on me? dang it!!!

Cool dude! My friends baby, not just any friend we met when we were in Kindergarten, a very dear friend. Isn't he adorable?

This sweet little face . . .

was playing with my cell phone last night, next thing I knew it was ringing. Yep you guessed it "This is the Seattle Police Department, is there an emergency" She called 911 and they called right back. How does she unlock the dang thing? Yes I learned my lesson no more cell phone for this girl. Good thing she is so stinkin cute.

Saturday Night Picnic

We had a lovely evening as a family. I love spending time with my family. We ate dinner at the park then ventured down to the beach. It was peaceful (as peaceful at it can be with 2 boys and a little sister) It always seems like a treat when we go out together even amongst all the chaos.

Daddy and his girl. Trying to get Naomi to sit for 2 seconds and eat her dinner was impossible. She sure had fun and that was the point.

My boys watching the wind surfers after dinner

Walking back to the car. I am starting to think the only way to get a picture of everyone is from behind.

Spanish Student

We have a student from Madrid staying with us for a couple of weeks. She arrived safely last night. We took it easy today, went to a park with a cool playground and a great view of the city.

School is out . . .

and summer time is here. The boys started VBS and swimming lessons this week. I am excited, this is my first summer without working. To be honest a bit frighted too, what will we do all summer. My hope is lots of time at the beach and exploring our city (kind of a vacation in Seattle) we often forget that we have so many cool things to do right here.

We are excited to have our first international student staying with us for 3 weeks, she is flying in from Spain on Wednesday.

Fathers Day

Our first fathers day as a family of five. We spent the morning at the skate park.

Pete brought his board too.

Thanie at the TOP of the climbing wall.

Later in the day we went to Aunty Kim's for a fathers day feast. Naomi running like crazy.

I am blessed to be married to a man that is a great dad. I love you Pete
