Moved In

It has been a week now the essential rooms are unpacked. All the bedrooms are painted and I am trying to find time to "nest" and make this place ours.

We went to a Neighborhood party on Saturday night. We scored on the "hood" great people tons of kids. I think we are going to like it here.

Referal Day - August 13

2 years ago yesterday we got the call we had been waiting for for YEARS. O.K. it felt like years but it was not quite that long.

I knew it was her, our DAUGHTER. Our Rao girl

I thank God everyday for for my Naomi Chu Yu. and the miracle of adoption.

P.S. we spent all day yesterday painting bedrooms and cleaning carpets we are ready for the delivery of our stuff today. Bring it on. . . .

P.P.S Naomi spent the day at grandmas yesterday and ended up spending the night, her first night away. It is to early to call over and see how it went but I will let you all know. I MISS her.

P.P.S.S. Thank you Myiam for finding my Girl and Happy Birthday!

Keys

Tomorrow at 5PM we get the keys to our new house, we have actually had the keys for a while but we get to use them because the old owner will be out of the house. YEA!!!

I let each kid pick out colors for their new rooms. We will spend Thursday night and Friday getting as much as possible painted before our stuff arrives on Saturday.

In the mean time the kids have been spending some time with Pete's parents (we have been staying with them for the last 2 weeks)

Here they are playing music with Grandpa . . . even the little fluffy boy is singing
Music with Grandpa is one of Nathaniel's favorite things, he is quite serious about it. This boys has some talent

Zach got put to "work" mowing the lawn. Why is it so much fun to work for Grandpa? I guess the riding mower might have something to do with it.

Moved out

We did it. It took 5 days to get ourselves out of our pretty red house. Lots and lots of help. Thank you to all of you who helped we couldn't have done it without you.
I had no idea how many tears would be shed leaving our house. I cried with several of our neighbors, I already miss you Loyola.

So much love put into this place. I left our red Chinese lantern up just so when we drove away I could see it one last time. (I know the new owners will take it down, but . . .) Speaking of the new owners they are great. I talked to her on the phone the very next day and we cried together, she was happy and I was just, well Emotional.

We are staying with my in-laws for the next couple weeks. Hope to catch our breaths and get ready for the New house.
