Heck YEA!!!
This is a photo we sent to our newest, oldest, most favoritest 9 year old girl in all the world.
Our favorite 9 year old girly wants to be a chicken farmer when she grows up so she can eat chicken and eggs whenever she wants. Worried she might be a bit disappointed when she gets home because we aren't allowed to have chickens in our neighborhood. I promise to always have eggs on hand.
Oh and in case you are wondering the bowl of eggs was a prop. No we don't usually put a bowl of eggs on our table at dinner.
Sorry! but I couldn't give you all a full picture right out of the gate that wouldn't be all that fun now would it?

We adopted a soon to be 9 year old in January and she's a total delight. No trouble with bonding, she's been sooooo easy (she's our "baby"- we've adopted 4 teens including one disrupted here shortly after coming to the US.) What a wonderful blessing for you, a treasure for sure:)
