Busy Weekend

We started the weekend with the cast coming off. The drama getting it off oh my! My poor little baby was terrified.

Clearly she was happy by the time we got home. Now we can go swimming and wear one of her cute new suits.

Saturday was my mom's birthday we decided to throw a big ol' surprise party. Success . . . It was a nice time, saw lots of old neighbors and family.

Don't my parents look sweet in this picture!

Next we headed off to the ocean for a night with friends. 8 kids in one house equals crazy chaos but a good time.

Now back to the house hunting. We have officially sold ours (we are renting it back which is VERY WEIRD) so we need to find something before I go crazy.

My Rainbow Girl

I decided to take a few pictures of my girl today, because she is cute and she has a rainbow dress on

and because she has a stinky green cast and it is scheduled to come off today at 4:30.

but mostly her smile made me smile today.

How did this little girl come half way around the word and become my daughter and me her momma?? There is only one possible answer. God put her here and I am so HAPPY that he did.

The Leap

The sign (for Sale by Owner) went up on Saturday morning flyers were put in the box Saturday at 3pm (I remember because we were rushing out the door to a very special little boys 1st birthday). We showed the house to several families on Sunday and had a full price offer on Monday. YIKES it went fast, it is a sweet happy house and the new family will fit in quite well.

And I am so glad that I don't have to have my kids make their beds and clean their rooms every morning before school. Couple days of that was ENOUGH.

Next step find us a HAPPY house. Never say never, looks like we are moving to the Burbs :) Oh My!!!

P.S. When going to see houses do not let your children play with the cool lego ships that someone else's child made and most of all do not let them run like wild animals. Wow!!! we saw some interesting folks.

Vegetarian

My boy, not the dog the one in the ORANGE crocks decided that he was going to be a vegetarian. So far he is sticking to it.

I love the quirks of my children. It makes them who they are.
