Last Tuesday

Was warm and beautiful outside

It was my birthday so my friend and I got some yummy treats and went to the beach

we took two little monkeys with us

This cute little guy is hers

They played , clearly we were not prepared for swimming in the lake but that did not stop them.

 Us mamas sat, chatted, ate and got sun burned.

It was a lovely day.

Today I am wishing the sun would come back.

My boy had to make breakfast.  Shop for it, make it, clean it up

My hubby had the day off so it was like a date with one kid.  

She was a sweet part to our date

We ended our date with a warm lunch at one of our favorite brewery's

P.S.  I did miss my two little gentlemen, but they had school.

Still loving every minute of the LWB Cleft Exchange, things are winding down.  I will be sad when it is over.  Seeing the babies transform is priceless.  My favorite picture from tonight was a little boy about a year old with a huge wide open smile.  It is funny how I barely notice the "cleft" it is just about the sweet babies.  

Just like my sweet baby.   Who *GULP* is 4.5 now.

WOW!! I LOVE this

Though it hurts, makes me cry and laugh and feel giddy inside.  It still hurts.  Because these precious little people are orphans.  No mommy or daddy or brother or sister or aunts and uncles, grandparents.  Nobody to call their very own.

I have the privilege of helping (just a very little bit) on this side of the world a completely different time zone.  I get to see these sweet orphans have lip repairs (a few palates too), the before and after photos.  These wonderful doctors giving their time to make new smiles, a new lease on life.

It is INCREDIBLE!!!

I woke up last night several times (not my plan)  I prayed for the doctors, nannies, staff and children . . . prayed like crazy.

As most of you know my girly is a cleft kiddo. Guess who sponcered her sugery while she waited for us in China.  O.K.  maybe she wasn't waiting for us but we sure were waiting for her (not so patiently I might add)

Yep it was Love Without Boundaries.  I am so grateful for them.  For repairing my girls lips and giving me this  AMAZING WEEK but mostly LOVING and CARING for ORPHANS.
