Happy Birthday - Pete

Happy Birthday to the Best Dad and Husband. I am so happy and proud to call this man my husband. Hope this year is an amazing one.

P.S. A year ago today my dad, sister and I boarded a jet plane . . . China bound. I get teary eyed and lumpy throated just thinking of it.

Got the call she has been found but we can't lock her file because we are not DTC though someone else can - May 15 AM

I freak out not sure I can parent an adopted 9 year old - May 16

REFERAL of our baby girl - August 13, 2008
Letter of Intent (letter we sent to China saying we want to adopt Rao ChuYu) - August 13, 2008
Pre Approvel (China pre aproves us) - September 2, 2008
Letter of Confirmation (China's approval) - September 24, 2008
Travel approval - October 16, 2008
ChuYu placed in my arms November 23, 2008
Consulate Appointment - December 1, 2008
