Pumpkin Patch

This is one of my favorite family outings. We always have such a good time and Aspen gets to come with us. Instead of riding in the wheelbarrow Zach drove it. Nathaniel ran around choosing just the perfect pumpkin (he had to be able to carry it himself).

TA!!!

We got our travel approval today. One step closer to our baby girl. Next step is getting our consulate appointment, then we get to book our flights. . . . I think this is really happening. I can't wait. We hope to leave 11/19, Pete's birthday, not sure he could ask for a better gift, his baby girl.

Girly Stuff - FUN!!!

Thanks for all the fun gifts, each and everything is really so sweet and thoughtful. All this pink (and orange) is quite fun. When I start getting anxious about waiting and wanting to hold our baby I go in her room and it feels nice and calming.

Thanks to Gracie and Steph for letting us borrow all your super cute baby clothes . . . It is much appreciated.

The Most Beautiful Piece of Paper

We got our Letter of Confirmation today. Our agency called yesterday to tell us that they received it. It took me most of the day to stop shaking with pure joy. It feels real now . . . we are going to China to bring home our daughter. I am so HAPPY. We went to China town last night for a little celebration and ate at Shanghai Garden, which was delicious. I am so excited to be in China, to see the country. We hope to travel in mid November.
Red Thread . . . Our letter of confirmation was dated 9/24/08, we were married on the 24 and both of our boys were born on the 24th.
