I am so HAPPY

Thank God. Aspen does NOT have cancer. She goes in Monday morning to have the tumor removed. Please pray that all goes well.

My Dog

My first born baby has another mass on her tail or shall I say stump. In case you did not see my post a couple months ago she had to have her tail removed due to a tumor. Anyway today I took her back to the vet, they took a sample and we hope to have pathology back this week. If it is cancer, Not good. If not then we have another surgery to remove the bloody mess. She is such a part of our family. I spent allot of today just sitting with her in the sun lovin on her and crying.

My Birthday

I turned another year older last Friday. What a great week plus a few extra days. I spent time with lots of special people, walks, coffee, movies, drinks, date with my husband, dinner with friends, special cards and lots and lots of love. Thank you everyone. I love you all.

Last Sunday we got to spend a fun day with a couple of the families that we traveled to China with. These people hold such a special place in my heart. What a perfect way to end my birthday weekend (although it did not really end there, I got another week out of it)

Dancin

Last night we went to see Grandpa Steve's band play. This little boy wanted to dance all night long . . . "momma will you dance with me" Wow!! music to my ears. How sweet!! I figure it won't last forever. I am by no means a dancer but for this sweet thing I gave it my best. He melted my heart.

Zach on the other hand was a bit more cautious on the dance floor but we got him out there a few times. I soaked it all in.

They played Brown Eyed Girl. . . I lost it, I was holding my very own brown eyed girl, the one whom I have waited and dreamed of for years.

Never say Never

I said I would never get my daughters ears pierced until she was old enough to want them . . . as you can see the sparkle got the best of me.

My baby is tough she did not cry, not a single tear. This picture looks a bit torturous but I had to keep her from moving her head.
This was a cousin thing. Emily got her ears done today also. Look at those sweet brown eyed girls.

The earring is a little silver flower with a blue gem in the middle. The boys requested blue, why not it matches just about everything. I LOVE HAVING MY GIRL HOME!!!

Hard Morning

This week we had to take away Wii privileges from Zach, homework has become to sloppy and unimportant to him. He is MAD!!! Oh very MAD!!! And now would like to make my life as miserable as he sees his. You see he loves his Wii (we did not let him have a game system until this Christmas). He knows my buttons and pushes them hard, his is smart. Yesterday he told me I should be on the Biggest Looser (we have been watching the show and I have been doing Weight Watchers) pretty funny . . . ha ha , NOT. he new that would get me. I passed that one by saying "oh I would love that" But some of his pushes have clearly gotten to me. I try, but who said this parenting thing was easy . . . I love him so much which makes this that much harder.

So today after dropping the boys off at school Naomi and I came home and took this sweet picture and did some snuggling and singing, relaxing and filled me right up again, thanks Naomi.

Unemployed

and Lovin it!!!!

I know this picture is blurry, hard to get picture of him holding still. He looks so happy and I love the his smile
I bought the lady bug sweater for Naomi in China (well I guess grandpa bought it for her/me) It has a Gymboree 4T tag in it, the one on the shelf next to it had a Gap 2T tag in it and it was even bigger (Naomi is currently wearing 18 month clothes). I guess they put tags in that will please the tourists.
I LOVE lilacs and my Chinese lanterns. I carried these lanterns from Nanchang to Guangzhou to Seattle. Probably time to take them down, but I love them . . . so maybe not.

I have done lots of fun things in my first few weeks of being unemployed. Couple zoo trips, lots of walks (I love walking with people) Last week I got to visit a sweet new baby in the hospital in the middle of the day when nobody else was there. Nothing like holding a brand new baby. Life is good. I have always dreamed of staying home full time with my peeps. Hoping it all works out.

Tulips

Today 4 of us went up to see the Tulips they are about an hour drive from our house. It was a special treat. Spending the day as a family makes me happy. Look how beautiful the gardens and fields are.

Yes we are missing Zach, could not justify him missing more school. But we did miss him.

Naomi and I walked to pick Zach up from school. This girl is always moving, she is a busy, busy girl. Look how dang cute she is. I love her. We had our post placement visit this week. Made me reflect on how far we have come. How much Naomi has changed and grown. How much she is meant to be in our family.
Check our my handsome 5 year old. Oh I love this kid. We went to the Zoo.
Naomi's first baseball game. It was foster and adoption night at the game. We had a FUN evening got to hang out with one of the people I traveled to China with.

Zach just lookin good at the game.
