Music Night

Nathaniel is my music kid.  He hears when people or instruments are in tune or not.  So when it came time to try out for the school musical I suggested he try out for a solo.  Well my boy did  it.

He did it because I asked him to.  WHAAAT!?

He was proud of himself and by gosh I am WAY PROUD of him.

I would have peed my pants when I was a kid . . . no solo's, speaking parts NADA for this mamma.

I did not get a picture before we left so here is a shot of him with dad waiting to go on stage.

In case you hadn't figured it out it was a Pirate show.

NICE JOB NATHANIEL

Surfacing

3 weeks ago today I came down with a fever like a big ol' fever 105.  The flu that then turned into pneumonia.  It has been a YUCKY 3 weeks.  I would say I am now running at 40% but getting better.  I feel like a 1 year old that needs 2 good naps a day.

I missed Zach's birthday party.  It was at our house but I was half dead in bed.  Though I got to see this picture and listen to some pretty cute conversations while Pete and my parents ran the show.

In case you were wondering it was laser tag in the back yard park.  Pretty Cool!

I missed so much Nathaniel's big jump rope performance, Zach's first ever Lacrosse game and just all the day to day stuff.  Luckily grandparents, family and friends helped so much with the kids and meals.

My hubby has been burning at both ends for a long time now.  I Love this man and am so thankful for him.

Taking it slow because everyone I talk to tells me that is what one MUST do with pneumonia.  Feeling hopeful.

Wondering what my life lesson is with all this . . . I'll let you know when I figure it out.
