Moved out

We did it. It took 5 days to get ourselves out of our pretty red house. Lots and lots of help. Thank you to all of you who helped we couldn't have done it without you.
I had no idea how many tears would be shed leaving our house. I cried with several of our neighbors, I already miss you Loyola.

So much love put into this place. I left our red Chinese lantern up just so when we drove away I could see it one last time. (I know the new owners will take it down, but . . .) Speaking of the new owners they are great. I talked to her on the phone the very next day and we cried together, she was happy and I was just, well Emotional.

We are staying with my in-laws for the next couple weeks. Hope to catch our breaths and get ready for the New house.

New House

YEA!!! We are set to close August 2nd. The current owners need to rent back for 10 days so we will be storing our stuff for a couple weeks and living with my in-laws.

Introducing our new house . . .

Pete and I both grew up in old houses and our current house is a 1912 so this is very very different. Not nearly as charming but great space, everyone will have their own room and the back yard is fabulous. Remember this post It really feels like a Happy House. We are excited!!!

Sunny Day's

90 degrees what a lovely summer day. Maybe just maybe it is summertime in Seattle, I hope it is here to stay

My three little monkeys are keeping cool in the back yard

drying off in the hot sun

Cutting off mass amounts of hair just to stay cool

relaxing in the cool grass

Zipping down the "Slide and Slip"

And leaving clothes all over the house . . .

that would be my dinning room buffet

and kitchen floor

It's hard to get to upset when they are having this much fun.
