Backyard Bike Ride

I have not played with my pictures for a while and apparently while I was not paying attention Picasa added a bunch of fun stuff.

I spent a few minutes messing around with different settings. . .

My jumping girl

We call it pine cone pick up around our house

happy to be in the sunshine

Still loving every minute of the LWB Cleft Exchange, things are winding down.  I will be sad when it is over.  Seeing the babies transform is priceless.  My favorite picture from tonight was a little boy about a year old with a huge wide open smile.  It is funny how I barely notice the "cleft" it is just about the sweet babies.

Just like my sweet baby.   Who *GULP* is 4.5 now.

WOW!! I LOVE this

Though it hurts, makes me cry and laugh and feel giddy inside.  It still hurts.  Because these precious little people are orphans.  No mommy or daddy or brother or sister or aunts and uncles, grandparents.  Nobody to call their very own.

Though this week they have people lovin on them.  This weeks starts Love Without Boundaries Cleft Exchange.  For more info LWB Blog

I have the privilege of helping (just a very little bit) on this side of the world a completely different time zone.  I get to see these sweet orphans have lip repairs (a few palates too), the before and after photos.  These wonderful doctors giving their time to make new smiles, a new lease on life.

I woke up last night several times (not my plan)  I prayed for the doctors, nannies, staff and children . . . prayed like crazy.

As most of you know my girly is a cleft kiddo. Guess who sponcered her sugery while she waited for us in China.  O.K.  maybe she wasn't waiting for us but we sure were waiting for her (not so patiently I might add)

Yep it was Love Without Boundaries.  I am so grateful for them.  For repairing my girls lips and giving me this  AMAZING WEEK but mostly LOVING and CARING for ORPHANS.

Baby Drew Needs Heart Surgery

You can help baby drew receive life saving heart surgery.  Start bidding today on all the beautiful items here LWB AUCTION.

Look at this sweet little round face baby boy.  Isn't he ADORABLE?!?!

Drew is a beautiful baby boy who was left at an orphanage in Anhui with a complex heart defect.  He will need a two stage surgery in order to have a chance at a healthy life.   As you can see from his photo, he is very blue from a lack of oxygen in his blood.  When you bid on one of the items in this year’s online art auction – you can know that you are helping babies like little Drew.   Bid generously, as the item you win will help a child get the medical care they desperately need.

A Glimps of Spring

We headed to the park.  There was sun to be seen.

There was fun to be had

climbing to do

smiles to be shared

sliding to do

tears that got shed - cold fingers got squished

ducks to see

Beautiful treas - and a mamma so grateful to be out with her family, healthy again.

Then we were off for a little lunch

We were missing one kid - he was off skiing with grandpa having his very own beautiful Sunday.
