Last Day of School
Where in the world did time go??? As of today I have a first grader and a fif fi fi . . . . fifth grader. I am so proud of my boys.
Nathaniel with his absolutely wonderful teacher. She is the most amazing teacher I have encountered yet, she has a way with kids and a passion for teaching that will be hard to beat. My boy has learned so much this year, he is confident and smart, social and just so well rounded. Thank you Ms. Norton for a great beginning.
Zach and one of his best buddies (I was asked not to request a picture of him and his teacher) This kid is not quite as fond of school, though he does well. He is very kind and compassionate.
By Daniel Bagley Elementary. The sad part is we are moving and won't be back next year. I started my day off with tears and to be honest I spent most of my day fighting them off. Pickup time was useless they just kept coming (I had sunglasses on. Smart hu!) I hate goodbyes
Daddy got home early tonight so we decided to go to one of our favorite summer spots for dinner.
After we ate we had a nice little walk at the marina.
Earlier today I was wondering why in the heck I had kids. I had NO idea how much they would mean to me. It is hard to wear your heart on your sleeve all the time.
I LOVE these 3 little peeps.
My fifth grader
And the 1st grader
Somehow I must find a way to slow down time. Mostly I need to remember to live in the moment . . . I think that will be my summer goal

Punched in the Gut
Pete took Naomi to her vision screening today (something her birth to 3 program offers for free) He called me after, all I heard was #*&^@# . . . . SYNDROME *&$%$#@. Felt like I had been punched in the tummy or maybe the heart or somewhere in-between . . . no I think it was both!!!!
You see the last time I personally dealt with the word "Syndrome" I heard words like . . . heart defect, short in stature, not knowing you have it to being retarded (yes the word retarded was used many many times), hand wrinkles, facial features, learning disabilities, kidney defects, eye issues, failure to thrive and on and on and on and on . . . . you get it!!!! It was a very very very HARD time.
I thank God daily for this guy . . . he is PERFECTLY himself, PERFECTLY my boy
The first time around the Gut punch lasted for over a year this time only a couple hours. We still don't know exactly what it means. It is Duane's Syndrome and eye issue. But I know now that regardless this little munchkin is my daughter. PERFECTLY the way God made her. . . they both are

Pins and Needles
At 9PM tonight our offer on a very "Happy House" expires. It is not a pretty house and it needs some updating but it just feels "Happy"
We did offer less than asking price because we have to stick to our plane, the point to selling our house was so I could stay home with the kids we just can't waiver from that.
Keep your fingers crossed, pray whatever you can do to help. Thanks
and because blogs need pictures . . . here is my littlest boy
