Bee Stings

Our little Ana came home from school on Monday with a Bee sting. Yikes! They hurt! We put a wet tea bag on it and some ice (we freeze rice) took the sting and welt away after about 30 minutes. Cool remedy!!!

Today I was on my way home from my early morning walk . . . I had to run the last 8 blocks (pete had to get to work). Got the swell idea to practice my breathing . . . breath in through my nose and out through my mouth. Well I sucked a bee up my nose, he stung me way up there. HURT!!! Got myself home of course the minute I see Pete the tears started flowing. I ended up in the ER, my entire face was a puffy mess, my nose closed up but my throat stayed open, Thank you God.
Tonight my face is still puffy, but I no longer look like an alien. Oh . . and that tea bag remedy did not work for me.

No pictures of this for the obvious reason.

I think it was a hard situation this incident really was so uncomfortable. You have got bad luck that the bee got into your nose. The problem was the body’s hazardous reaction. We are so happy that yours incidents with bees has been a happy ending. In Eire Ana was bee sting too, she had got SO SO pain, she‘s keeping a terrible remember.

Care us a lot.

Oh Amy...I have to say I have never heard of an unfortunate occurrence like this. I still can't believe you sucked up a bee right up your nose. You poor thing. I think for the heck of it I'm going to google how many times something like this has happened. I am so happy everything is ok...and that your pain subsides. Poor thing!

Many Blessings,
Deanna

guemeWow, hope you are all doing better, Amy I wanted to ask you a question about traveling to China. I am supposed to travel in 2 to 3 months and I am wondering about the gift giving, are they supposed to be in a bag, or wrapped? Thank You Ellen
