A Year Ago . . .

today Naomi and I landed in Seattle via China (after an ungodly amount of travel). We were finally a family of five.

Picture 12/3/08

I thank God daily for the gift of my family. I also pray daily that it will be easier soon. This sweet little Naomi is giving me a run for my money. It feels like we are back to the first months home. . . she is back in our bed at night and needs to be with me almost %100 of the time. I am sooo TIRED. This to shall pass. Please tell me it will.

P.S. Yes, I was crying in this picture, children do CRAZY things to a momma's emotions.

You looked a heck of a lot better than I did when our plane landed. I am still in awe that a year has passed and how much your sweet angels have grown. You are one lucky mama and they are just as lucky to have you! Happy 1 year anniversary!

Hi Amy,

I left you a message on my blog, but that probably wasn't the right way to do it! Can you email me at djkpowell@msn.com? I'll give you the full scoop on what we'll be doing in Seattle, and if the planets line up, I'd love to visit with you!

That little girl has had a big
adjustment this past year. I'm
hoping for both your sakes that it's the tail end of that adjustment, culture shock, or what ever. With a year under both your belts, things are bound to look up!
Hi to the "boys."
