Beijing Day 1

We toured Tienanmen Square.  It was cold, but we couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day.

Apparently it is good luck to rub a snake.  We'll see how that works!

We hiked up a hillside to get a amazing view of the city.

Rode a bus

Had yummy noodles for lunch.  Guess we should have practiced with chopsticks before we headed to China.

This Hutong Alley was my favorite place today.

That would be duck hanging in the window.

We also rode the subway.

I am off to take a little rest before we head to the acrobatic show.  My brain is so tired - I guess that would be jet leg.

So happy to have my family see China this time.
